The Young and the Restless is back and so are red hot Y&R lovers Devon and Elena. Oh, and that means real life couple Bryton James and Brytni Sarpy will be heating up the screen – no Genoa City social distancing necessary! “Having Brytni as a scene partner has been such a fun experience,” Bryton tells HollywoodHI.
And Brytni seconds that emotion.
“Bryton is my best friend, my equal, my favorite acting partner, my family,” smiles Brytni. “I feel empowered and unstoppable knowing someone as grounded, secure, intelligent, and handsome always has my back,” she said. For dozens of years, Y&R has offered viewers the most racially diverse cast and storytelling in all of soaps, and it appears that’s not going to change anytime soon.
Fans were already hungering for more of the popular duo before the break, and with their real life couple status, it’s Y&R lookee loo fans who will probably be over the moon dissecting Devon and Elena’s every move.
Brytni is thrilled with their on air – and off – relationship, with “an incredible partner in life,” she said, acknowledging “it is incredible to find so much in one person.”
Bryton finds the home/work pairing ideal, as well. “We’re able to spend so much time playing around with, and bringing the material to life at home, says Bryton. After all, “Practice makes perfect, and I couldn’t be more fortunate to love and be loved by someone who wants nothing less,” he gushes.
Brynti has already let it be known that that she was falling in love about the same time their characters were. So, everybody is happy, everybody is in love? “Hahahaha yes that goes without saying”
